This sherpa lined, vintage WWII Hand Painted Leather Bomber Jacket features a space where front patches have long been removed, an aluminum prestige zipper and a brass pocket zipper with pull. The front patches have been removed long ago but the most interesting aspect of this jacket is intact. The Double Up Trunk is a symbol of good luck. A fighter pilot painted this bomber for good luck and safety in the skies. A serious piece of military history and seldom seen iconography. A truly rare piece.
