The Crew Neck.

The Crew Neck.

Frankly Scallop, I Don't Give A Clam.

The origin of the Crew Neck sweatshirt can be traced back to the 1930's.
The Crew Neck was garment designed for rowers, almost always collarless
with a round neckline, and usually made out of cotton.
The sleeveless version was invented around the same time to be worn under football pads and was then embraced by the U.S. Navy as standard issue attire.
The Crew Neck has cemented itself in American apparel right next to the tee shirt and blue jeans.  Frankly Scallop is available in our webshop!
